Overview
The Catering Runner assists the Suite Captains in providing Premium guests with a pleasant experience. The Suite Runner is primarily responsible for setting the suite up with appropriate pre-ordered and complimentary food and beverage items and serving equipment before the guests arrive. Following the event the Suite Runner will clear away any remaining food and equipment restoring the Suite to prevent condition.
The employee must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work a variable event-driven schedule which includes evenings and weekends. Open availability, professional presentation, outstanding interpersonal skills, self-direction and strong management and independent decision-making skills are required.
These positions are seasonal and will run from February 6th until March 31st for the Spring Training season. Times vary depending on game time and attendance.
This role will pay an hourly wage of $14.70, plus tips.

Responsibilities
- Assists the Catering Manager & Catering Captain in serving meals to guests in the suites and premium areas.
- Responsible for observing guests to respond to any additional requests and determine when the meal has been completed.
- Responsible for cleaning up remaining food product and equipment after the guests have left.
- Responsible for keeping the Suite and Premium work areas and equipment clean.
- Responsible for setting up the Suite and Premium areas with preordered and complimentary food and beverage product and required serving equipment.
- Maintains sanitation, health and safety standards in work areas.
- Must show demonstrated ability to meet the company standard for excellent attendance.
Qualifications
- Ability to communicate with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management staff and guests in a clear, business-like and respectful manner which focuses on generating a positive, enthusiastic and cooperative work environment.
- Ability to speak, read and write in English.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment.
- Possess valid food handling certificate and alcohol service permit if required by state and federal regulations.
- Ability to walk, stand, possibly extended distances; ability to bend and climb stairs when necessary
- Ability to frequently lift/carry up to 25 lbs, occasionally lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
