Overview
The Event Police Officer will help provide a safe environment by assisting with security operations. This position will be involved with supervising the execution of standard operating policies and procedures while delivering a high level of customer service.
This is a TEMP ROLE from April 1- July 31, 2025
This role pays an hourly rate of $50.00.

This position will remain open until June 20, 2025.
Responsibilities
- Provide security assistance for assigned events at the facility.
- Perform crowd management and control techniques; Assist with police and fire rescue.
- Remain calm in emergency response situations which could be life threatening.
- Understand the organization and operation of the facility and of outside agencies as necessary to assume assigned responsibilities.
- Maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work.
- Assist in general duties of public safety, theft deterrence and loss prevention.
- Ability to work security check-points and other posts plus traffic assistance.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as required by manager.
Qualifications
- Must be a current Maryland Heights police officer.
- Possess demonstrable experience with the characteristics, services and activities of public facility security and safety programs.
- Verifiable similar experience in a large, service-oriented environment.
- Working knowledge of pertinent Federal, State, and local laws, codes and regulations.
- Read, speak, write and comprehend the American English language.
- Major course work in law enforcement, public / business administration or a related field.
- Two years of responsible experience in law enforcement or security services.
- Ability to work beyond normal business hours, including nights, weekends and holidays as needed.
