Overview
Reporting to the Event Services Manager, the Event Staff Supervisor will oversee and direct the Event Staff. This role plays an essential part of guest experience and help build memories for the staff and those in attendance. The position is in close communication with the event managers and may at times need to make educated decisions on how to deliver positive customer service on their own within the policies and procedures established.
This role pays an hourly wage of $20.

Responsibilities
- Assist in day-of management of the day of events team members including ticket takers, ushers, and third party security .
- Work closely with the Event Managers and Guest Services manager to ensure that all event related information is properly relayed to part-time staff.
- Prepare your assigned section for guests; this includes reporting any issues to the appropriate staff
- When doors/gates open, welcome guests with a great smile and helpful attitude
- Oversee scanning of event tickets ensuring that the proper ticket is being used to gain entry
- Assist fans in locating their seats
- Being alert and proactive to potential hazards and reporting incidents when they occur
- Managing staff in your assigned area for issues and opportunities to make lasting memories for our guests
- Respond to all guest concerns/complaints promptly and in a professional manner. Report any issues to the Event Manager or Guest Services Coordinator.
- Assist guests in ADA accessible seating sections
- Enforce all building policies and procedures to ensure a safe environment for all guests
- Provide excellent customer service assistance to internal and external clients
- Manage the foot traffic flow of large crowds
- Report, Respond, and Record all incidents that occur during an event. These could include medical or safety incidents.
- Be knowledgeable about arena emergency evacuation plan in order to safely assist guests during the unlikely event of an emergency.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Experience in a hospitality, entertainment, security environment is preferred
- Leadership experience preferred
- Must love working with and helping people.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- You must be able to maintain a POSITIVE attitude while handling difficult situations.
- Must have a demonstrated ability to function in a fast paced, high-pressure environment and provide creative on-the-spot solutions to challenges
- Flexible schedule: Availability to work nights, weekends, and some holidays.
- Position may require to work events indoors and outdoors.
