Oak View Group seeks a skilled Lead Cook to join our team in the concession stand operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing menu items using high-quality cooking equipment in a fast-paced environment.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop your culinary skills while working closely with colleagues to deliver exceptional dining experiences for guests across various events and activities.
Main Job Responsibilities:
- Cook and package food products according to order specifications or keep them warm until sold to meet customer demand.
- Collaborate with front counter staff to receive verbal orders for food product requirements to fulfill guest orders efficiently.
- Maintain high standards of quality and production on all menu items, ensuring consistency in presentation and taste.
- Ensure proper portion control and serving temperatures of all products served in the concession stand to guarantee guest satisfaction.
- Clean and maintain workstations and displays regularly to ensure a clean and organized workspace.
- Operate large-volume cooking equipment such as grills, deep-fat fryers, and ovens safely and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness standards by cleaning equipment, storing food properly, putting away utensils, and sweeping and mopping the floor at the end of each shift.
- Meet company expectations for excellent attendance and punctuality to support team success.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with colleagues and guests.
- Possess strong English language skills for reading, writing, and speaking purposes.
