Overview

Operations Staff Members will perform a multitude of tasks to setup, run, and breakdown of all events hosted at Ryan Center.

This role will pay an hourly wage of $15 to $20.

EVERGREEN ROLE: Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis; there is no application deadline.

Responsibilities

• Perform general labor, repairs and maintenance on various aspects of the arena as assigned.
• Primary duties include building conversions for various events.
• Setup and breakdown of chairs, tables, other event seating, stages, basketball court, etc.
• Actively care for all arena equipment and property by storing equipment.properly, cleaning and repairing broken or damaged items, and alerting management of anymistreatment of property.
• Maintain organized storage areas.
• Perform Snow removal tasks such as shovel sidewalks, parking areas, entrance ways, loading dock.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Perform general labor as assigned.
• Must be 18 years old.
• Ability to work days, overnights, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills and ability to function in a fast paced,high- pressure environment
• General conversion knowledge and experience of using cleaning products and equipment a plus
• Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time and meet deadlines
• Ability to climb stairs and lift 40 lbs. unaided
