Overview
The Premium Catering Runner will play a key role in supporting the catering and culinary teams by assisting with event setup, food running, product delivery, cleaning, and event breakdown. This position involves delivering high-quality food and beverages to designated premium areas with efficiency and attention to detail. The Premium Catering Runner will ensure timely delivery of food and drinks during events while maintaining cleanliness in service and dining spaces. Additional responsibilities include organizing and restocking supplies, as well as preparing the event space for breakdown after the event concludes. This position reports directly to the Catering Manager and Executive Chef, ensuring smooth coordination and effective execution of all premium event-related tasks.
This role pays an hourly rate of $16 to $18.

Responsibilities
- Food and Product Delivery Transport food, beverages, and other supplies (such as condiments, napkins, utensils, beverage cases, etc.) from the warehouse, pantry, or prep stations to designated service areas, suites, or concession stands within the stadium. Ensure timely and accurate delivery of items to meet event schedules and guest demands.
- Set-Up Assistance Assist with the setup of food stations, service areas, or event spaces by organizing and arranging food products, beverages, and supplies according to event requirements. Ensure proper presentation and cleanliness of items being delivered.
- Maintain Cleanliness pantries, carts, and delivery areas are kept clean and organized throughout the event. Promptly clean up spills, crumbs, or other debris to maintain a safe and tidy environment.
- Trash Removal & Zero-Landfill Compliance Remove trash and food waste from service areas promptly throughout the event. Ensure proper disposal of trash according to Zero-Landfill guidelines, separating recyclables, compostables, and waste as needed to support sustainable practices. Work with team members to ensure that waste is disposed of in designated bins and does not contaminate recyclable or compostable materials.
- Inventory Support Assist with inventory management by restocking service areas with necessary products (such as napkins, beverages, condiments, etc.) during the event. Report low stock levels or missing items to the appropriate team members to ensure uninterrupted service.
- Collaboration with Catering & Culinary Teams closely with chefs, catering staff, and event coordinators to ensure food and beverage deliveries are made in a timely manner. Communicate any special requests or changes to orders to ensure smooth service.
- Event Breakdown Support Assist catering or suite attendants in breaking down catering event spaces, including clearing tables, removing used dishes, and properly disposing of trash and recyclables. Help return unused supplies and equipment to the pantry or warehouse after events. Ensure event spaces are properly cleaned, organized, and restored to their original state.
- Safety and Hygiene Compliance Adhere to health and safety regulations, including proper food handling, storage, and sanitation protocols. Follow stadium policies for safe food transportation and handling, particularly in crowded or high-traffic areas.
- Timeliness and Efficiency Ensure that all food and product deliveries are made in a timely, efficient, and organized manner to support smooth operations during events. Prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
Qualifications
- Experience: A minimum of one (1) year of experience in events, banquets, or restaurant settings is preferred.
- Availability: Must be available to work all scheduled events, including evenings, weekends, and select holidays.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 6 hours), lift up to 50 lbs as needed for service-related tasks, and work in all weather conditions in an outdoor stadium environment.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills required to interact effectively with guests, supervisors, and team members.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent GED preferred. Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of education.
- Alcohol Handling: Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age to handle or deliver alcoholic beverages.
- Positive Attitude: A friendly, positive, and professional demeanor, with a customer-focused attitude to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Team Player: Ability to work as part of a team, collaborating with other staff members and departments.
- Sanitation & Cleanliness: Strict adherence to sanitation standards and a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
