Position Summary
To ensure the seamless flow of food and beverage service, delivering high-quality service to guests, supporting kitchen staff, and assisting front-of-house team members in delivering an exceptional dining experience in a premium MiLB stadium.
This role pays an hourly rate of $10 to $12, plus tips.

Responsibilities
Runner
- Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to guests in a timely and organized manner.
- Ensure all food orders are accurate and meet the quality standards set by the restaurant.
- Check that food presentation is consistent with restaurant standards.
- Assist in managing the flow of orders, ensuring that hot food arrives fresh and cold items remain chilled.
- Provide additional service such as offering condiments or other needs while delivering meals.
- Coordinate with the kitchen staff to ensure orders are ready for service and organized.
- Inspect dishes before they leave the kitchen to ensure they are correct, properly presented, and complete.
- Ensure all orders are communicated to servers accurately, including any special requests or modifications.
- Maintain an organized service area to help with efficiency and reduce wait times for guests.
- Be a liaison between the kitchen and front-of-house to communicate any important information regarding orders or guest needs.
- Previous experience in food running, expo, or front-of-house roles, preferably in a premium or fine dining environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail, particularly in terms of food presentation and quality.
- Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
- Professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
- Knowledge of food and beverage service standards.
- Ability to handle guest concerns with professionalism and a positive attitude
- Fast-paced, high-pressure setting, often with long hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods, carry heavy trays, and manage multiple orders at once.
