Overview
Reporting to the HR Director, the Senior Human Resources Manager will be responsible for supporting human resources functions at the stadium in coordination with the entire HR team, including talent acquisition, employee relations, training and development, compliance, and workforce planning. This role is pivotal in fostering a positive work environment, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and supporting operational excellence through strategic OVG HR initiatives.
The salary range is $75,000 to $95,000.

Responsibilities

With the Senior HR Manager, lead and manage HR operations for all food and beverage employees within the stadium, including full-time, part-time, and seasonal staff.
Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals, ensuring a high-performance culture.
Oversee talent acquisition, onboarding, and retention strategies to attract and retain talent.
- Focus on DEI and Community outreach initiatives.
Manage employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary procedures in compliance with labor laws and company policies.
Partner with operations and leadership teams to provide HR support and workforce planning solutions.
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local labor regulations, including OSHA, FMLA, ADA, and EEO guidelines.
Design and facilitate training and development programs to enhance employee skills, engagement, and leadership development.
- Collaborate with payroll and benefits teams to ensure accurate and timely processing of employee compensation.
Act as the primary point of contact for union relations (if applicable), handling negotiations and contract compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree from accredited college or university (BA/BS) in human resources or related field, or a combination of education and relevant experience
- Minimum 5 years’ verifiable progressive experience in Human Resources as a generalist or recruiter
- Certified as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP is a plus
- Possess solid working knowledge of local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations.
- Verifiable track record of displaying initiative and strong problem-solving skills.
- Effective interpersonal skills to establish and maintain effective relationships with customers, employees, superiors and business contacts in a professional, timely and courteous manner.
- Experience recruiting/hiring for diverse positions with emphasis on part-time or hourly positions.
- Excellent oral, written, interpersonal and organizational skills required.
- Demonstrated ability to adhere to strict standards of confidentiality, discretion and ethics.
- Knowledge and experience in employment law practices (e.g., EEO, ADA, FMLA, DOL, OSHA, etc.).
- Proven independent professional capable of forming relationships with diverse groups of employees at all levels.
- Proficient in MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint applications; and fluency in working in HRIS database systems.
- Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely in the English language, both orally and in writing.
