Job Title: Director of Rehabilitation
Position Summary:
The primary purpose of this position is to be responsible for the leadership, management, day to day operations, and overall success of rehab services for the facility. This position will direct the rehab departments of physical, occupational, and speech therapy, to ensure the highest quality rehab services are provided and in accordance with all laws, regulations, and company standards.

Duties:
* Implements and monitors the provision of facility Rehab Policy and Procedures
* With clinician input, assigns patient caseload and other responsibilities to staff
* Orients, trains, supports and counsels therapy department to improve job performance and to maintain high standards of care using evidence based practice
* Establishes monthly department goals and objectives in conjunction with the facility's objectives
* Coordinates rehab admissions and distribution of caseload including productivity management
* Acts as a rehab case manager for HMO patients or other complex cases
* Working knowledge of various payers and regulatory requirements for each
* Ensures compliance and accuracy with treatment minutes and other administrative records, as assigned
* Develop quality standards for program outcomes, performance improvement, customer satisfaction data, documentation, educational needs, and clinical standards
* Provides patient care
Required Qualifications:
* PT, PTA, OT, COTA or SLP
* At least 3 years in a supervisory role
Preferred Qualifications:
* Supervisory and/or administrative experience in rehabilitative long term care preferred
* Knowledge of the Medicare PPS system preferred
* Strong organizational and leadership skills
