Housekeeping / Laundry Assistant

Location : Oak Village Healthcare, Oaktown, IN

Join the dedicated team at Oak Village Healthcare as a Housekeeping / Laundry Assistant, where your attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness will make a difference in the lives of our residents. We are currently hiring for Full-Time and Part-Time positions, with every other weekend required.

Responsibilities :

  • Follow housekeeping procedures to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
  • Handle soiled linen (facility or residents' personal items) and process it through the washing machine.
  • Fold and hang resident personal linen, transport and distribute items to residents' rooms.
  • Ensure clothes are neatly stored in closets and drawers.
  • Maintain compliance with OSHA and state regulations for cleanliness and safety.

Qualifications :

  • Previous experience in cleaning, maintenance, or related fields preferred.
  • Familiarity with cleaning materials and equipment.
  • Knowledge of OSHA and state regulations in a healthcare setting is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
