Job Overview
Oak Wood Property Management is seeking a seasoned professional to oversee the maintenance operations for six manufactured housing communities in the Bloomington, IL area.
This role will be responsible for managing all maintenance staff, coordinating repair and improvement projects, and ensuring that all properties are maintained to the highest standards.
- Team Leadership & Supervision:
- Oversee and manage all maintenance staff across the six communities.
- Provide training, guidance, and support to ensure efficient and high-quality work.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Property Maintenance & Repairs:
- Ensure all routine, preventive, and emergency maintenance is completed promptly.
- Perform and oversee plumbing repairs, ensuring compliance with local codes and regulations.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and renovations.
Project Management:
- Plan, budget, and oversee capital improvement projects, renovations, and infrastructure upgrades.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
Compliance & Safety:
- Ensure all properties comply with local building codes, health, and safety regulations.
- Maintain proper documentation of maintenance work, inspections, and repairs.
Qualifications:
- Licensed plumber (Required).
- 5 years of experience in property maintenance, facilities management, or a related field.
- Experience managing a team of maintenance professionals across multiple properties.
