What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinic Manager/Physical Therapist - Physical Therapy - New Territory - Full Time - Days position at OakBend Medical Center?
The Clinic Manager is responsible for providing day- to- day, clinic and executive administration support and supervision to all clinic staff. Makes decisions regarding patient care activities in area of responsibility.
MINIMUM EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy.
MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE
2 years’ experience in Physical Therapy required; 5 years preferred.
REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS
Eligible for or licensed by Texas Board of Physical and Occupational Therapy Examiners. Basic Life Support certification required through the American Heart Association or other pre-approved accredited certification program.
REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong telephone etiquette required. Proficient in Microsoft office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) Professionalism and strong work ethic; the ability to anticipate needs, the ability to multi-task and follow HIPAA guidelines. Must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development as it relates to the different life cycles (school age, adolescent, young adult, adult and geriatric). Knowledge of regulations, QA and procedures, and quality patient care.
