What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Emergency Room Technician - ECC - Full Time - Mid Shift position at OakBend Medical Center?
Under the general supervision of the Clinical Coordinator (RN), the Lead Emergency Room Technician (Lead ERT) is responsible for the supervision and training of ERTs to ensure the administration of excellent patient care and customer service, EKG monitoring, and assist licensed nursing staff to provide care to Emergency Care Center patients. The Lead ERT will continue to support the medical care of patients under the direction of the Medical Staff pursuant to the objectives of the hospital.
MINIMUM EDUCATION
Graduated of an accredited EMS program.
Minimum Work Experience
One-year hospital or EMS experience required. Supervisory experience preferred.
Required Licenses/Certifications
Current certification or license as an EMT-P through the Texas Department of Health or National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians. Certified in BLS through the American Heart Association.
Required Skills, Knowledge And Abilities
Computer Skills. Successful completion of an EKG competency assessment test.
