Responsibilities
Under the direct supervision of the MST Manager/(s) and the general supervision of the MST/ICU Director, the Senior Nursing Department Coordinator is responsible for performing clerical duties and assisting in the day-to-day functioning of the Medical/Surgical/Tele, ICU, and Nursing Administration Departments as assigned. General duties include maintaining the staffing schedules, assisting with time entry and payroll, and preparing data and reports for meetings and management.
Qualifications
MINIMUM EDUCATION:
High school graduate or equivalent; relevant experience in lieu of High School Diploma/GED education will be considered.
MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE:
Previous administrative experience. Healthcare experience preferred.
REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
None.
REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES:
Experience in Microsoft Office required. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to multitask. Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
