WHAT WOULD YOU DO AS A COMMERCIAL MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
As a Commercial Maintenance Technician at Oakbrook Corporation, your daily responsibilities will include performing routine inspections of buildings and grounds to ensure optimal functioning. You will troubleshoot and repair various systems, such as plumbing, electrical, and HVAC, addressing maintenance requests promptly and efficiently. Your expertise will be vital in managing preventative maintenance schedules and documenting completed tasks accurately. Collaboration with property management and other team members will be essential as you work to resolve issues and enhance tenant satisfaction. You will also need to prioritize tasks effectively, adhering to safety standards and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Your role will require a proactive approach to identifying potential problems before they escalate, contributing to the overall success of our properties.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Monthly preventative maintenance
Tenant service orders
HVAC automation adjustments
Complete work requests within 24 hours of receipt
Maintain grounds care and housekeeping as needed
Prepare vacant commercial suites for new tenant
Daily building inspections
Report accidents, emergency, or safety concerns to supervisor immediately
Participate in on-call rotation schedule (approximately one week every 9 weeks)
