JOB SUMMARY
The overall purpose of the Activities position is to provide group and individual activities for the residents.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs duties and responsibilities with assigned functional area within a nursing home facility which may include, but are not limited to, any combination of the following tasks:
- Leads daily resident and guest activities program, including oversight of other activities staff and volunteers.
- Ability to be organized and efficient.
- Creates highest standard of resident experience, with dedication to resident choice and overall "can-do" approach to resident satisfaction.
- Ability to work well with others.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum one (1) year job experience in long-term care or similar environment.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Exceptional commitment to customer service and employee well-being.
