We are seeking a Safety Coordinator to join our team at Oakdale Irrigation District (OID). This position will play a crucial role in protecting and enhancing water resources to support our region.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and oversee safety and environmental compliance programs, including occupational safety, industrial hygiene, environmental protection, fire prevention, and hazardous materials management.
- Provide training, monitor regulatory changes, conduct technical research and analysis, and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Serve as a liaison with regulatory agencies, the public, and internal departments.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in environmental science, occupational safety, biological science, chemistry, engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Experience: Minimum of four years of progressively responsible experience in environmental compliance or regulatory management.
