We are seeking a Safety Coordinator to join our team at Oakdale Irrigation District (OID). This position will play a crucial role in protecting and enhancing water resources to support our region.

Oakdale Irrigation District serves over 80,000 acres of prime agricultural land in Stanislaus County, providing essential irrigation and domestic water services. We are committed to making a meaningful impact on our community while contributing to the sustainability of agriculture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and oversee safety and environmental compliance programs, including occupational safety, industrial hygiene, environmental protection, fire prevention, and hazardous materials management.
- Provide training, monitor regulatory changes, conduct technical research and analysis, and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Serve as a liaison with regulatory agencies, the public, and internal departments.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in environmental science, occupational safety, biological science, chemistry, engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Experience: Minimum of four years of progressively responsible experience in environmental compliance or regulatory management.
