Collision Director – Oakes Auto Group
Oakes Auto Group is seeking an experienced Collision Director to oversee the daily operations of our collision center. This role is responsible for driving efficiency, ensuring high-quality repairs, and maximizing profitability while maintaining exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the collision center, ensuring efficiency, quality, and profitability.
- Develop and implement business strategies to increase revenue and customer satisfaction.
- Lead, train, and manage technicians, estimators, and administrative staff to achieve performance goals.
- Ensure compliance with insurance company guidelines, OEM repair procedures, and safety regulations.
- Control expenses, including labor, materials, and equipment costs, while maximizing profitability.
- Build and maintain relationships with insurance companies, vendors, and parts suppliers.
- Improve cycle times and repair quality through process optimization and continuous improvements.
- Handle customer escalations and maintain a high level of service and satisfaction.
- Monitor and enforce company policies, safety standards, and local/state regulations.
- Utilize management software to track repair progress, financial performance, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in collision repair management or a related field.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with insurance processes, estimating software (CCC ONE, Mitchell, etc.), and OEM repair procedures.
- Experience in financial management, including budgeting, cost control, and profit/loss analysis.
- Ability to manage a high-volume repair facility and improve operational efficiencies.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to resolve conflicts effectively.
- Experience managing DRP (Direct Repair Program) relationships.
- Rome Collision Management experience is a plus.
