Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and passionate Human Resources Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of HR, from recruitment to compliance, ensuring that our workforce is engaged, compliant, and empowered. This position will handle HR tasks across four companies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment & Hiring: Create and manage job postings, conduct interviews, and facilitate the hiring process to attract top talent.
- Employee Onboarding & Termination: Oversee the onboarding process for new hires and manage the termination process when necessary.
- Health Benefits Enrollment: Assist employees in enrolling in health benefits and provide ongoing support for any related inquiries.
- Employee Handbook Development: Collaborate with management to develop and maintain an employee handbook that aligns with company policies and legal requirements.
- Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate and confidential employee records in compliance with state and local regulations.
- Conflict Resolution: Address employee complaints and issues promptly, ensuring a fair and respectful workplace.
- Compliance Management: Ensure compliance with all relevant state and local regulations concerning employment practices in the cannabis industry.
- Performance Management: Work with management to develop and implement employee performance review processes that promote growth and development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2 years of experience in a human resources management role, preferably within the cannabis or regulated industries.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion and professionalism.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
