Job Summary:
The Horticulturist position works on the diverse range of activities involved in golf course maintenance, clubhouse landscape, skilled landscape, maintenance work, and performance of related tasks as required.
Day-to-Day:
- Operates powered equipment in mowing golf course and clubhouse operations.
- Waters, fertilizes, and applies pesticides to clubhouse flower and shrubbery.
- Trims trees, prunes shrubbery, and cultivates shrubs and flowers.
- Designs and maintains clubhouse, golf course, and commons woody plant materials and flower beds.
- Operates and calibrates all spraying equipment needed.
- Responsible for Maintenance of Clubhouse Potted Plants.
- Responsible for maintaining the greenhouse as well as proper climate control settings.
About You:
- 2 years of experience working in landscape, greenhouse, or grounds maintenance.
- Driver's License.
- Pesticide Applicators License.
- A degree in Horticulture is preferred. High school diploma or equivalent.
