Description:

The Oakland Athletics Stadium Operations Department is currently seeking Stadium Operations Events Staff for the upcoming baseball season.

Responsibilities:

  • Work home games when needed as Stadium Operations Events Staff.
  • Participate in the set-up and breakdown of all events. This may include cleaning, lifting and/or moving tables and chairs.
  • Greet guests and monitor and control access into Event Areas.
  • Engage and interact with clients, fans, and stadium staff.
  • Understand the Athletics standards of customer service; perform tasks, and assist clients with questions and/or inquiries.
  • Have full knowledge of the Athletics stadium and ticket policies.
  • Have full knowledge of the Oakland Coliseum.


Qualifications / Requirements:

  • BA or BS college degree (or in progress) preferred.
  • 1 to 2 years previous experience working in a customer service environment is preferred.
  • Excellent customer service and problem solving skills.
  • High energy, detail-oriented and hardworking individual.
  • Self-starter with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thoroughly complete tasks and assignments in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be available non-traditional hours (various early mornings, nights, weekends, holidays).
  • Must be able to perform the following physical requirements:
    • Pushing, pulling, carrying and lifting up to 30 lbs.
    • Ability to stand for long periods of time


In adherence to California's Pay Transparency Act (SB 1162), the base hourly rate for this role is $16.50, consistent with California's minimum wage requirement.
