What are the responsibilities and job description for the Concessions Staff position at Oakland Ballers?

The Oakland Ballers are getting ready for the 2025 season and are looking for experienced, professional and team spirited candidates for the following positions: Line cooks, bartenders, concessions vendors, food expos and runners.
The concessions are operated “festival style” with semi-permanent tents, tables and equipment. Each day the entire team is responsible for participating in 90 minutes of set up and about 60 minutes of breakdown. This includes a lot of lifting and carrying of product and equipment, at times in the outdoor heat of the Oakland summer.
Candidates should:
- Be able to work a busy 6-8 hour shifts
- Be able to participate in the set up and breakdown each day
- Be able to lift 50lbs.
- Have a valid CA food handlers certificate
- Have a valid RBS training certificate (bartenders & concessions vendors only)
- Be available from early May - Mid-September (schedule)
Candidates should also have a strong understanding of good customer service, be able to work a busy shift with a smile on their face and enjoy being a part of a big team.
