As part of the Oakland Ballers Entertainment Crew, you will play an important role in enhancing the fan experience by facilitating and participating in Game Elements and other entertainment, according to standards set by your Producer. Working closely with the production team, you will be responsible for finding contestants, working with the mascot, sourcing props, and assisting with other activations during games to ensure an engaging and unforgettable live event experience for fans.

As part of the Oakland Ballers Entertainment Crew, you will play an important role in enhancing the fan experience by facilitating and participating in Game Elements and other entertainment, according to standards set by your Producer. Working closely with the production team, you will be responsible for finding contestants, working with the mascot, sourcing props, and assisting with other activations during games to ensure an engaging and unforgettable live event experience for fans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Find and onboard contestants for IGEs, sponsorship activation, and other game elements.
- Identify and move appropriate props around the stadium to fulfill script requirements.
- Participate in IGEs as needed and embody the excitement of live entertainment on camera.
- Collaborate with Host and Showcaller to fulfill specific on camera and entertainment elements.
- Closely monitor the progress of the game and make timely decisions on task prioritization.
- Attend any pre-production or post-production meetings and rehearsals as needed.
- Assist the team mascot in games and getting around the ballpark.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working live events, specifically in a sports or entertainment setting, preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple tasks at once.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment, with the flexibility to adapt to changing game situations and Showcaller directives.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with other members of the production team and game operations staff.
- A passion for baseball and/or entertaining to help accentuate key moments and assist in delivering compelling content to enhance the fan experience.
- Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as baseball games can occur during non-traditional working hours.
