Summary of Purpose
SUMMARY OF PURPOSE : Provides supportand assists in all aspects of student enrollment processes. Performs clerical duties in counseling and enrollment services.
The employee is expected to work as a team player in a multi-cultural, diverse working environment.

- Engage with students / visitors as the point of contact, ensuring a welcoming and informative experience.
- Address incoming calls, walk-ins, and emails from students (prospective, current, former), other college departments, and the outside community.
- Provide guidance from admission through the registration process, providing hands-on or virtual assistance as necessary.
- Serve as student advocate; handle inquiries regarding student records, perform preliminary investigation of issues raised by students, faculty, and others in order to arrive at timely and accurate resolutions
- Support the Counseling Department with clerical duties surrounding schedules and student appointments.
- Process documents pertaining to student records, maintain and process records in accordance with college policy
- Understand and utilize multiple programs / systems / software covering all areas of job functions e.g. SIS-Student Information System (Colleague), CRM Relationship Management (CRM), Document Management Systems, and any other software utilized by the college
- Assist in college campaigns related to enrollment and retention.
- Order supplies and equipment with appropriate approval.
- Operate office equipment (e.g., photocopier, telephone, computer and any other equipment utilized by the College) and clean, maintain and arrange for service of equipment as necessary.
- Trains and directs college student workers with appropriate approval.
- Performs related tasks, as assigned.
- Ability to work additional hours, as needed.
Knowledge and Skills Required
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :
EDUCATION : Successful completion of a minimum of 24 college credit hours in Administrative Support Technology (AST), Business Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, or Business Administration (BUS 1100, BUS 2030, BUS 2530, MKT 2520, ACC 1800, ACC 1810, ACC 1820 and CIS 1050).
An Associate’s degree or higher in any discipline.
