Job Title: Marketing Associate
Job Type: Part-Time (Hybrid, 20 hours per week)
Compensation: $22 - $25/hour
Job OverviewThe Marketing Associate will oversee communication, marketing, and engagement efforts with medical practice managers, contributing to operational efficiency and the promotion of society initiatives. This role requires a proactive and organized individual with strong communication, marketing, and problem-solving skills. Key responsibilities include managing outreach, social media, events, administrative support, and other relevant tasks.
Key ResponsibilitiesCommunications & Marketing
- Develop bi-monthly newsletters and contribute to the Practice Management section of the quarterly bulletin.
- Create email campaigns, marketing materials, and bulletins to inform and engage members.
- Manage the society’s social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, website, etc.) to enhance visibility and engagement.
- Oversee website content to ensure accuracy, relevance, and appeal.
- Research and implement marketing strategies to expand outreach and promote the society’s services.
Event & Meeting Coordination
- Plan and coordinate quarterly practice manager meetings, including securing locations and speakers.
- Identify and engage speakers on topics relevant to practice management and healthcare trends.
- Promote society events through targeted marketing campaigns.
Practice Manager Support
- Provide one-on-one support to practice managers for operational, staffing, and HR challenges.
- Research and propose resources, benefits, and best practices for medical practice management.
Administrative Duties
- Maintain an up-to-date database of practice managers and contact lists.
- Record membership dues and track member demographics.
Professional Development
- Attend relevant seminars and training sessions to stay updated on industry trends and enhance your skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational, communication, and marketing abilities.
- Experience in medical practice management or a related field preferred.
- Knowledge of social media management and marketing strategies.
- Familiarity with billing, coding, and healthcare compliance is a plus.
