Summer positions are limited to a total of 520 hours per season.
General Summary
Under limited supervision, employees of this class are assigned to one of several County departments or divisions, such as Children's Village, Medical Examiner, Sheriff, or Workforce Development. Assists in performing basic professional level duties. May coordinate group activities. May prepare reports, progress summaries, and/or statistical analysis. Utilizes current county-wide and/or department specific software to complete assignments.
Required Minimum Qualifications
At the time of application, applicants must:
1. Have completed at least two years from an accredited college or university; with coursework in Sociology, Psychology, Criminal Justice, or a related area.

WHEN ASSIGNED TO SHERIFF’S OFFICE: A criminal background check will be conducted before employment begins. Information obtained during the background check will be considered in the hiring decision.Pay Range
