Oakland School District is now accepting applications for a High School PE/Health teacher. This position will teach High School PE/Health, Competitive Sports and Weights.
Estimated start date: August 25, 2025
DEFINITION OF DUTIES: Provide instruction to students along with other duties as assigned by principal.
QUALIFICATIONS: Current Oregon Teaching License with proper endorsement; energetic team player; positive classroom manager; preference given to those candidates with practical and working knowledge of PBIS (Positive Behavior Support) strategies.
POSTION IS OPEN UNTIL FILLED
Oakland School District is on a 4 day school week. Mon-Thurs, 7:30 am-4:15 pm, 2 Fri’s/month for 6 hrs/day. The district provides a competitive Insurance package and pays the employees PERS 6%.
