We are currently interviewing for full-time employment opportunities for Ikonopedia Specialist - Patient Service Representative.
Role and Responsibilities:
This role will be responsible for completing tasks as assigned by the Manager and Coordinators.
- Ikonopedia Software Training/Knowledge
- Uploading Discs/Prior Records
- Burning Discs
- Report Tracking and Printing
- Patient Letters and Mailing
- Updating Report information
- Placing Service Tickets
- Problem Solving, independent work, critical thinking skills
- Understanding of Breast Center workflow and patient needs
- Answering patient questions, meeting requests
- Answering phone calls, scheduling return visits and or rescheduling appointments as necessary
- Sorting, scanning and faxing and mailing documents
- Supporting Medical Records with Breast Imaging Requests
- Charging and posting records/paperwork processing, including handling fees
- Medical records retrieval as necessary
- Charging and posting appropriate record fees
- Assisting fellow team members and supporting other locations as needed
- Ensure all process/procedure knowledge and actions falls with department standards
- Maintains professional and positive team relationships and work environment
- Displays willingness and ability to engage in a team approach and professional manner at all times
- Ability to maintain focus, calm and an unbiased manner during busy schedules and issue resolution
- Ability to communicate with patients and staff in a clear, concise, confident and professional manner
- Ability to promote conflict resolution amongst the team, and co workers
- Maintains attendance as scheduled including on time arrival and work day finish
- Team Player- share job tasks without direction
- All other duties as assigned
- Ability to multitask
