West Bloomfield School District The Finance Supervisor provides leadership and is responsible for all aspects of the Financial Services Department, including supervision and evaluation of assigned staff, management and oversight of operations, grant accounting, posting to the general ledger, accounting for revenues, and providing for proper internal accounting procedures and controls.
EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree required, with a major in business, accounting or related preferred. Five years of experience in K-12 school district accounting may be substituted for a degree.
- Minimum three years of experience in the Financial Services field with experience in school accounting and reporting experience preferred.
- Certified Public Account credential preferred.
- Experience with budget production and control preferred.
- Possess strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize a multitude of tasks.
- Demonstrated knowledge and implementation of relevant technology applications, including BusinessPlus software, preferred.
- Experience supervising employees preferred.

SALARY AND BENEFITS

The salary range for this position is $97,571 to $107,700 and is negotiable, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Start date : as soon as possible.
