What You’ll Do as a Crisis Services Nurse:
We are searching for a full time CRISIS SERVICES NURSE to work 8p - 8a in our Crisis Center in Goshen.
Primary responsibilities include:
We are searching for a full time CRISIS SERVICES NURSE to work 8p - 8a in our Crisis Center in Goshen.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Assess individuals for admission using a medical stability approach.
- Assess physical health, using a brief health assessment
- Deliver care for minor physical health challenges.
- Collect vitals, medical, and substance use history
- Treat minor wounds
- Administer medication with orders from the center provider
- Facilitate escalation of care when clinically indicated
- Help develop and refine center policies and procedures.
- Documenting all necessary information in patient charts
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum hiring requirements:
- Current Indiana LPN or RN license;
- Two years of post-degree psychiatric experience in a similar position preferred
