What You’ll Do as the Recreational Activities Assistant:
Primary duties:
- Assist in the provision of recreation therapy services and related documentation of the services to residential youth at the Mishawaka campus.
- Participate in facility and program requirements and responsibilities
- Provide case management functions as assigned.
- Meets regularly with youth in the course of providing services, with staff on a daily basis to coordinate care and with the treatment team in the course of staffing.
- Interacts with clinical and support staff within the broader organization staff, as well as external referral sources and those serving the same youth.
Minimum Hiring Requirements for the Recreational Activities Assistant:
- High School Diploma/GED required
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- One year experience working in activities or with youth highly recommended.
