KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
- High school diploma / GED - Prefered
- Ability to operate general office equipment.
- Computer data entry.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers, and personnel; assimilate information and make decisions; work under pressure in a detailed, organized manner.
- Ability to work independently in the absence of direct supervisor.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to sit, lift, stand, walk, bend, twist, stoop and kneel.
- Focus on servicing our customers’ needs for in-store, phone and internet parts requests in a timely, courteous and efficient manner.
- Interact with customers in a constructive and supportive manner.
- Research parts solutions for customers – used, new, surplus and aftermarket solutions.
- Assist customers looking for hard-to-find parts by utilizing various parts resources.
- Supply the service department with parts required to meet our service customers’ needs in a timely manner.
- Utilize company, vendor and industry resources to consistently grow your knowledge of machines and their applicable parts.
- Process sales orders and returns within our system.
- This person must work well as a team member and collaborate with all departments within the company.
- Responsible for effectively creating and processing transfer orders and creating/receiving vendor purchase orders.
- Effectively communicate features and benefits of products we sell to our customers
- Assisting in other areas of the business as needed - such as warehousing or clerical tasks
- Demonstrate a positive attitude, professional conduct and appearance at all times
- Able to manage multiple tasks independently.
- Understand our inventory system for parts and is able to pull orders as needed.
- Other duties as assigned
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to multi-task in a very fast-paced environment.
- Sales driven with a confident “Can Do” attitude.
- Must be able to work in both a team and independent environment.
- Computer skills – proven ability to use multiple software programs to perform daily tasks.
- Experience with part sales – heavy equipment and industrial parts experience is a plus but not required.
- Organizational skills – ability to balance competing priorities
