Job Description

Job Description

The Outbound Inspection Technician determines vehicle condition by conducting inspections of all company tractors and trailers entering and leaving the yard. They are also responsible for keeping the daily vehicle log of each inspection.

Essential Functions :

  • Support the Oakley Transport Service Standards
  • Perform inspections
  • Check VIK dates and look for other repairs needed

Additional Responsibilities :

  • Directs traffic entering and exiting the yard
  • Other duties as assigned by Supervisor

    • Special Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Familiar with DOT compliance
  • Familiar with AS400
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work independently
  • Must have a positive attitude and personable
  • Must be dependable
