- Utilize electronic health record systems such as Epic and Athenahealth for patient management.
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding their medical records, appointments, and any necessary follow-up.
- Assist in the management of Medicare-related documentation and inquiries.
- Handle phone calls, emails, and other correspondence in a professional manner.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar administrative role within a healthcare setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with medical terminology is essential to effectively communicate with patients and staff.
- Experience with electronic health record systems such as Epic or Athenahealth is highly desirable.
