The Graphic Designer is responsible for supporting the creative and marketing teams with the production of visual materials, including graphics, illustrations, layouts, and multimedia assets.
Position Responsibilities
- Create the layout and design of projects including brochures, ads, invitations, logos, newsletters, web content, social artwork and other graphics.
- Work closely with the marketing team to ensure collateral aligns with branding requirements.
- Collaborate with the home office Creative and Marketing teams and community marketing teams to deliver effective solutions to creative challenges.
- Create designs that adhere to established brand standards while exploring new concepts.
- Maintain strict confidentiality standards and ethical business practices.
- Able to travel based on need and priority. Adhere to Company travel policies and guidelines.
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for all team members and visitors, following established safety procedures.
- As required, complete annual and monthly training, attend scheduled in-services and mandatory meetings. Maintain all required certifications/licensures.
- Demonstrate flexibility in work schedule as evidenced by working holidays, evenings, weekends, and additional shifts when necessary to ensure adequate coverage within the department.
- Display tact and friendliness when interacting with team members and visitors.
- Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with team members and other departments.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Prefer three (3) to four (4) years of work experience in graphic design.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Mac OS Platform). Expertise in Illustrator and InDesign with a strong knowledge of Photoshop.
- Experience with developing designs as part of a brand identity.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Adept at multi-tasking with strong organizational and project management skills, and able to turn around projects very quickly and deliver on schedule.
- Experience with producing graphics for both print and online mediums.
- Receptive to change and takes direction well.
- Must be flexible, adaptable, innovative, and open in response to competitive pressure, multiple decision makers and production changes.
- A collaborative thinker that excels in a creative team environment.
- Strong time-management skills.
- Must pass a Criminal Background check.
- May require team members to vaccinate, participate in daily screening, surveillance testing, and to wear face coverings and other personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 or other communicable diseases, per regulatory guidelines.
