What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full-Time and Part-Time Care Partner CNAs position at Oaknoll Retirement Residence?
Oaknoll is excited to announce the opening of a brand new position within our community! We are currently looking for Care Partner CNAs to join us in our new, 12 private room, nursing care environment at 1201 Benton Street. This environment will have a personal, home-like take on how we care for our residents; focusing on a more communal and interpersonal caregiving setting. With wages starting at $19.50 per hour and increasing from there with verified experience, the Care Partner CNA role combines traditional CNA caregiving with homemaking, companionship, and advocacy. Working closely with residents, Care Partner CNAs work with our team to ensure a nurturing and vibrant environment, and in doing so they CREATE home for our residents, building lasting relationships with them and fellow staff members. Oaknoll is a not-for-profit community that provides resident-centered care and services through our CREATE culture.
Not sure you have what it takes to be part of a CREATE culture? Let’s find out. CREATE stands for our guiding principles of caring, respect, enthusiasm, awareness, teamwork, and encouragement. We believe that people should experience joyful, active, and connected lives as they age. We believe people should have the opportunity to receive competent, caring, and compassionate health care when they need it. We believe our community is both special and unique because of the people who live here, the people who work here, and the relationships that they build together. We strive to make the lives of our residents and our staff meaningful and fulfilling. If you want to share in these values and the relationships that they allow us to build, we are looking for YOU!
Oaknoll is seeking both full-time and part-time CNAs to join our Care Partner team! Hours are available on all three shifts; 7:00am to 3:30pm, 3:00pm to 11:30pm, 4:00pm to 9:00pm, and 11:00pm to 7:30am, with availability on every day of the week. Some holidays will be required. In addition to traditional CNA duties such as providing direct care with activities of daily living, responding to call lights, documenting and recording cares and resident health information, Care Partner CNAs also work closely with a group of residents, providing companionship, engaging residents in activities to promote physical, emotional, and social well-being, preparing and serving nutritionally conscious meals according to residents' dietary needs and preferences, and maintaining a clean and safe, home-like environment, including performing light housekeeping and laundry tasks.
Why Oaknoll you might ask? Because we offer many benefits. Some of these include competitive pay, paid time off, retirement plan, 40% off employee meals, free use of our gyms and pool, weekly access to a Nurse Practitioner free of charge, onsite parking, tuition reimbursement, scholarship program, student load repayment program, along with medical, dental, vision, life and voluntary short-term and long-term disability insurances for qualifying employees.
