Oaknoll is currently seeking part-time Recreation Aides to join our team. Exact hours may vary. Hours will include some evenings and weekends. Some holidays will be required. The ideal candidate will be outgoing, energetic, passionate about working with seniors, and willing to take initiative to engage residents with recreational opportunities. Experience working with people with dementia preferred.
Supervised by our Recreation Therapist, the Recreation Aide will:
- Lead daily activities including exercises, trivia, cooking etc.
- Plan and implement one-on-one activities as directed.
- Assist with preparation of monthly activity calendars.
- Document resident participation in department records.
