Data Center Solutions Architect (Storage focus)

We are seeking a strategic Data Center Solutions Architect with a focus on storage and storage architecture. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of data center technologies, with a specialized focus on storage solutions, including on-premise, hybrid, and cloud-based storage architectures. You will work closely with both internal teams and vendors to design and implement cutting-edge storage solutions that meet scalability, performance, security, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities and Profile:

Design, implement, and optimize enterprise storage solutions in the data centers, including SAN, NAS, DAS and cloud storage. You will collaborate with stakeholders to define storage requirements based on business goals, growth projections, and performance needs, ensuring tailored solutions that meet both current and future demands. You should have experience will current storage virtualization, cloud integration, and backup solutions. You will have enterprise experience where you consider scalability, performance, resiliency, reliability, high availability. You will oversee the seamless integration of storage systems with networking, server, and cloud infrastructures.

In-depth Storage Knowledge: Proven experience with enterprise-level storage systems, including SAN (Storage Area Networks), NAS (Network Attached Storage), DAS (Direct Attached Storage), cloud storage (e.g., AWS S3, Azure Blob Storage), and object storage, cloud storage, expertise in storage virtualization and Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI) like VMware vSAN, Nutanix, or other modern storage virtualization platforms. Experience in optimizing storage systems for high performance, low latency, and high availability. Strong understanding of storage security, encryption, access control, and data integrity techniques in the context of data centers. Experience with enterprise-grade storage solutions from vendors such as Dell EMC, NetApp, HPE, IBM, or similar.
