Job Overview
The Groups Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing all Oaks Church Groups’ vision, discipleship, culture and management as well as the growth and discipleship of group leaders and report to the Community Life Director. This position is classified as a minister position for employment law purposes.
Responsibilities Duties :
Groups
Culture | create and drive culture for Groups consistent with the mission and vision of Oaks Church and the primary focus to model discipleship through connection and care
Growth | lead strategy to see spiritual growth and leadership development through cross-departmental collaboration
System | develop and facilitate systems to support Groups organizationally : groups platform, Group Leader training / on-ramp, data metrics, connecting people to groups and Dream Team care
Groups Sundays | organize a fun, interactive experience to help people get connected to groups on special groups focused Sundays
Qualifications
At least two years' related experience required.
Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
Actively disciple others and passionate about walking with & leading others to do the same.
Excellent People Skills | relational, pastoral, intentional, influential, strong leadership skills, and works well in multi-generational Adult Ministry.
Well-versed in verbal and written communication skills.
Comprehensive organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Reliable in prioritizing tasks and time manages well | delegates tasks and responsibilities.
Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
