Responsibilities
- Support the VP of Fiscal Affairs with various duties assigned.
- Review vendors' W-9s, security deposits not included, and issue 1099s.
- Prepare and initiate recurring monthly transfers.
- Answer and resolve any questions or requests from phone calls outside the agency.
- Assist with updates related to consumer financials, including DDD Escrow, Escrow, and CTF.
- Review check batches from Accounts Payable staff and assist with rush batches as needed.
- Record month-end closing entries and correct journal entries as necessary.
- Research outstanding bank reconciliation items related to the operating account and investigate discrepancies in balance sheet accounts.
- Pay monthly statements online for American Express, Home Depot, and other vendors as required.
- Support the AP email in the absence of the Accounts Payable Manager.
