Job Summary

Duties

- Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and assessments of patients.
- Administer IV insertions and manage intravenous therapy as needed.
- Oversee the catheterization process, ensuring adherence to best practices and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate medical records for all patients under care.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements within a Level I Trauma Center environment.
- Provide training and mentorship to nursing staff, promoting professional development and adherence to quality standards.
- Assist in lifting and transferring patients safely, utilizing appropriate techniques to minimize injury risk.
