Overview:
Supports the business functions of the Campus Technology managers. May be asked to work with various office productivity tools, conduct research and analyze results, and meet with end users. May be asked to assist with technology hardware of software support as needed. Collaborate with other Campus Technology Student Employees on projects. May be asked to test or give feedback on software or services from a student perspective.
Campus Location: Des Plaines, may have to make occasional trips to Skokie campus.
Length of Employment: February 2025- May 2025, with option to renew

Hours Needed: Monday- Friday: 8:00 am- 12:00 pm
Schedule Flexibility: Student schedule will fluctuate based on what assignments are accepted/refused. Once accepted, students are expected to follow through with their determined schedule with minimal adjustments.

Candidate Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and Other abilities:
Qualified candidates will have the following competencies and skills:
- Must be a currently enrolled at Oakton College in at least 6 credit hours during the Fall and Spring semesters. Employment over the summer is allowed for students taking at least 1 credit class during the summer, or students continuing registration into the following Fall semester.
- Must have an overall GPA of 2.0 or higher and be in good standing at Oakton College.
- Basic knowledge of Google Suite tools.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and other software.
- Candidates must have good communication, customer service and phone skills, be self-motivated and willing to learn.
