Scope and Responsibilities
Based in Stamford, Connecticut, the Oaktree Emerging Markets Debt team is seeking a Vice President to work within the Emerging Markets Opportunities and Emerging Market Debt funds (“EMD Funds”). The EMD Funds specialize in opportunistic, value-based investing but have a broad mandate and can invest across the capital structure and in various asset classes and industries in emerging market geographies. The VP will participate in all investment functions and portfolio management activities, including :
- Preparing detailed financial modeling;
- Performing quantitative and qualitative analysis;
- Developing and enhancing business and industry due diligence;
- Participating in deal structuring, legal documentation and negotiations;
- Recommending investment ideas; and,
- Monitoring the performance of existing portfolio investments.

Degree from a top tier undergraduate university or college.
The base salary for this role will be $225,000-250,000 plus a discretionary bonus and comprehensive benefits package.
