ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Establish training schedules.
- Provide relevant up to date subjects that are included in the training schedule.
- Monitor training to ensure curriculum is followed.
- Enroll and oversee enrollee’s complete training in accordance with current regulations.
- Submit the training program and/or revisions to the program to the state for approval as necessary.
- Demonstrate proper technique of nursing assistant’s duties and functions.
- Monitor activities of trainees to provide compliance with patient rights, safety procedures, dress codes, and other procedural guidelines as appropriate.
- Present clear and concise expectations.
- Ensure student compliance with syllabus, attendance policy, and conduct.
- Responsible for Certified Medication Aide training classes as needed.
- Promotes the image and reputation of the System by exhibiting servant leadership and providing direct and open lines of communication.
- Contributes to the work of committees, workgroups, project management, and other collaborative efforts of the System.
- Performs other duties as necessary to ensure the success of the System.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Proficient in using a computer, especially Microsoft Office, Excel and Power Point.
- Excellent organizational and prioritizing skills required
- Effective and professional verbal, and written communication skills to include speaking to large groups.
- Able to work flexible hours that may include some weekends or evening shifts
- Communicates well with other associates, patients, family members, and visitors providing warm and friendly greeting and an approachable attitude. Responds to expressed concerns while displaying a helpful, caring demeanor, answers questions when appropriate in a professional manner.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Active Registered Nursing license in good standing.
