Responsibilities
- Support veterinarians and technicians with daily tasks
- Clean and maintain equipment, feeds, exercises, and grooms patients
- Prepare and sanitize surgery suites
- Restrain and handle patients safely
- Perform clerical and administrative work, including filling prescriptions and documenting patient information
- Communicate effectively with clients and provide education on animal care and health
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One or more years' experience in a veterinary environment
- Vet Tech (VTNE) Certification preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
