Joining Oakwood Village as an intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with the senior housing related sales and marketing activities of our community.
This position reports to the Sales and Marketing Director.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES (not meant to be an all inclusive list)
- Support Sales Efforts:
- Provides administrative support for events, open houses, and informational sessions.
- Assists in preparing sales materials for tours.
- Shadows the sales team during calls, meetings, and tours.
- Helps plan and execute tours of the community for prospective residents & families.
- Assist in Lead Management:
- Updates and maintains the customer relationship management (CRM) database.
- Follows up with prospective residents or their families via phone or email.
- Market Research:
- Analyzes competitor offerings to refine sales strategies as directed.
- Reporting and Metrics:
- Prepares reports on sales activities, lead progress, and outcomes.
- Monitors metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of sales strategies.
- Event Coordination:
- Helps organize outreach and community events aimed at generating leads.
- Supports logistics, setup, and follow-up for events and campaign.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
- This internship is open to current Undergraduate or Graduate students.
- Studying Marketing, Real Estate or related field preferred.
- Ability to respond to prospective residents and business partners professionally.
- Requires customer service orientation with empathy.
- High level of attention to detail required.
This internship will last from 8-12 weeks, depending on the availability of intern. This position will also work at both campuses located in Madison.
