The district is approximately 2.29 square miles and has five schools: The Julian & Marjorie Lange School, Harman School, Smith Elementary School, Oakwood Junior High School, and Oakwood High School. Renowned for its tradition of academic excellence, Oakwood is one of the top districts in Ohio. The Julian & Marjorie Lange School is a kindergarten only building that serves approximately 130 students.
Job Summary:
This position plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of curriculum, assessment and gifted functions by providing high-level administrative, clerical, and organizational support. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, efficient, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provides administrative support for the department
* Assists the Professional Development Committee with professional inservice days along with conference registration and purchase orders.
* Assists and maintains records related to curriculum materials, professional development, assessment data, and instructional resources.
* Provides administrative support with district-wide testing for both online and paper testing.
* Track and maintain budgetary records for curriculum and instructional accounts, including purchase orders and reimbursements.
* Help monitor federal and state reporting deadlines and support data collection and submission (e.g., EMIS, testing, grant reports).
* Provides backup support for other departments. Assists with special projects as directed.
