Groundskeeper

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Groundskeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the aesthetic appeal and health of our landscapes, gardens, and lawns. This role requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work with various tools and equipment to ensure that all groundskeeping tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Perform landscape maintenance activities, including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools for various groundskeeping tasks.
• Irrigate gardens and lawns to ensure proper hydration and growth.
• Plant, prune, and maintain flower beds, shrubs, and trees to enhance the overall appearance of the grounds.
• Monitor plant health and identify any pest or disease issues, taking appropriate action as necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness of outdoor areas by removing debris, litter, and other waste materials.
• Assist in the installation of new landscaping features as needed.
• Follow safety protocols while operating equipment and handling chemicals.
• Assist in basic maintenance projects

Experience

• Previous experience in groundskeeping or landscape maintenance is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with garden care techniques, including irrigation methods and lawn care practices.
• Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
• A passion for working outdoors and maintaining beautiful landscapes is essential.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
