Responsibilities
- Supervise, train, guide, and support ALA staff in delivering comprehensive patient care.
- Ensure adherence to clinical standards and protocols, including medication administration, OSHA guidelines, and resident bill of rights.
- Complete initial and ongoing assesments of prospective and current elders.
- Creating and implementing service agreements.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care strategies, including communication and coordination with outside service providers and personnel.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to ALA staff.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant medical practices to support clinical decision-making.
- Be on call and address any clinical issues or emergencies promptly while ensuring safety protocols are followed.
Experience
- Assisted Living experience as a nurse or in a similar supervisory role within a healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of clinical procedures, including geriatric care and medication administration.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to mentor and motivate team members.
