Key Responsibilities:
Professional Services
- Collaborate with the Delivery/Engagement Managers, pre-sales, and Account team to understand customer needs and business requirements/objectives.
- Lead architecture, development, deployment, and maintain Azure generative AI and traditional machine learning solutions.
- Experience engaging in high-level conversations with clients to shape potential projects.
- Experience in pre-sales motions to support the sales and business development teams.
- Experience collaborating with business stakeholders to understand business requirements and design AI solutions which meet those requirements
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent presentation and whiteboarding skills.
- Experience communicating highly technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Be an expert in product, driving material impact and contributions back to the business. As an expert in the field, the role will have high levels of influence into customers’ needs and potential product improvements
Technical
- Design and implement robust Azure data architectures for scalable data pipelines, data lakes, data warehouses, and real-time analytics platforms.
- Develop comprehensive data strategies to support business intelligence, reporting, and AI/ML initiatives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into end-to-end data solutions using Azure technologies.
- Architect and manage Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Data Lake Storage to build scalable data platforms.
- Develop and deploy AI/ML models within Azure Machine Learning environments to enable predictive analytics and improve decision-making processes.
- Ensure data architecture adheres to data governance, security, and compliance standards specific to the professional services industry.
- Design and implement data integration solutions for connecting Azure data services with third-party tools and enterprise applications.
- Establish and maintain best practices for data modeling, ETL/ELT pipelines, and data transformation processes.
- Optimize data storage, query performance, and cost efficiency across Azure environments.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to data engineers, developers, and other team members.
- Collaborate with AI/ML specialists to integrate machine learning models into Azure data solutions.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for data architecture, pipelines, and AI/ML models.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, Data Science, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience designing and implementing data solutions on Microsoft Azure.
- Expertise in Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Data Lake Storage.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, SQL, and Python for data transformation and analysis.
- Background in the professional services industry with an understanding of key data challenges in that sector. Background in information technology consulting with a track record of success in the role.
- Proven experience in designing secure, scalable, and high-performance data solutions.
- Knowledge of data governance, data privacy regulations, and compliance standards within the professional services industry.
- Experience building and deploying AI/ML models using Azure Machine Learning or equivalent frameworks.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex business needs into effective data architectures.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Azure certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Data Engineer Associate, or Azure AI Engineer Associate.
- Experience with Power BI, Cognitive Services, or IoT data integration.
